Now Available: Fighters & Warlords Foundry VTT Module

Fighters & Warlords is a SWAG Awards product from 2021 which focuses on bringing extra choices to the fighters and leaders archetypes. While it is mainly focused on fantasy settings, it can, and has been, used in other genres. It is part of the six books Fantasy Add-ons series.

Two months ago, its author, Cyril Ronseaux, updated it to be compatible with the SWADE Fantasy Companion. The PDF provides:

50 new Edges for ranged, melee, Tests and Support, including Weapon Proficiencies.
New combat maneuvers like tackles, finesse disarms, and new options on grappled enemies.
New weapons like bec-de-corbin, staff slings, plumbata, kusarigama, fire lances, volley guns, or fire rockets.
Help to match those weapons with weapons from many historical cultures like chinese, japanese, indonesian, african, pre-columbian, roman, or egyptians.

Today, with the immense help from Joseph Meehan (well known to the Savage Worlds Foundry community), Fighters & Warlords is now available as a FoundryVTT Module.

The module provides:

All Edges and Weapons as Compendiums, with Active Effects and Actions.
Weapon Proficiency automated (can be enabled from settings).
Actions for the new maneuvers.
The 11 characters available as playable characters, all set up with backgrounds and advances.

Fighters & Warlords FoundryVTT Module is fully compatible with (but does not require) the SWADE Core Rules and SWADE Fantasy Companion Premium modules. Installation is as simple as unzipping the content and help is available online. You can also contact Joseph & Cyril on the Foundry Discord.

But there is more! Tomes & Prayers, another of the Fantasy Add-ons, is being ported to Foundry as well. Also Cyril has founded Gronyon Games and is currently working on a new fantasy setting set in the Arabian desert. Stay tuned!
